BDO East Africa opens an office in Ethiopia
BDO is pleased to announce the admission to BDO East Africa of a new firm in Ethiopia, effective 1 July 2013.
BDO East Africa was admitted to the BDO network in 2009 and currently has firms in Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The new BDO East Africa - Ethiopia, formerly Next Consult, is an independent firm that was established in 2005. The firm has an excellent reputation in the local market and has maintained a 15% annual growth rate over the last five years. It is now the second-largest professional services firm in Ethiopia.
The firm focuses on audit and accounting with a full service offering that also includes tax, management and business consulting. Operating out of one office in Addis Ababa with 25 partners and staff, the firm’s clients include large entities in mining, tourism & leisure, manufacturing and retail, telecom and family-owned companies.
Ethiopia is the second most populous nation in Africa with a population of 85 million. The economy has seen double digit growth over the last five years and continues to offer significant development potential.
