Expert RA assigned Unicon the highest rating of reliability and quality of services designed for audit companies

Expert RA launched the rating of reliability and quality of services of audit companies in 2024. Russian audit companies included in the SRO register of auditors are eligible for the survey.

The rating reflects Expert RA’s opinion on the ability of audit companies (the methodology does not apply to audit networks; each company included in the network is assessed individually) to provide audit, related and other services in a timely manner, in full scope and in accordance with the concluded agreements, as well as to comply with professional audit standards, the code of professional ethics for auditors and the independence rules for auditors and audit organisations.

There are 9 levels in the rating (from the highest A++ to C signifying the exclusion of data about the company from the SRO register).The levels are assigned in accordance with Expert RA's own methodology which  sets forth a list of criteria for adequate assessment of  reliability and quality of audit companies' services. These include the assessment of business risks, corporate and financial risks, and professional qualifications.

Expert RA expects that the new rating will become a convenient non-price tool for businesses when selecting external auditors, and for audit companies themselves - an independent argument in favour of their reliability, useful in dialogue with clients and contractors.
